As a teacher, public speaker, author of two books, a licensed massage therapist, a licensed personal trainer, a college graduate with a degree in psychology I’ve lived and traveled all over the United States. My experiences have inspired and motivated me to create some solutions to the problems of everyday life. As a result I have founded Vitalogy in order for others to “Live A Lot.” |
Rather than becoming a doctor or academic, I chose consumer-based, hands on approaches to health care and personal improvement. I learned not only to listen to people, but to their bodies too. Some of my jobs have included being an office manager, X-ray technician, exercise therapist, public relations director, facility administrator, and consultant.
Technology has made our lives easier, more comfortable, and provides us endless opportunities. However, our bodies are now vastly underutilized, and we have to create activity for them. Otherwise, the physical embodiment of youth, pain-free movement, is replaced by stiffness, headaches, backaches, fatigue, and reduced physical abilities.
In the 1990’s I created the Gymnasia, a facility for private consultations, exercise programs, self-improvement workshops, special events, and social gatherings. It was here that both the VitalBody and VitalMind courses came to fruition. I translated the work I was doing with people into ways they could learn to do it for themselves. I am now teaching health care providers to become practitioners of these courses. And the Gymnasia goes on tour with me now, for corporations and organizations seeking motivational and personal enhancement programs.
Many people don’t understand the care their bodies need. This makes them overly dependent on doctors, who are paid to treat rather than teach, and medicate rather than educate. Education, through developing self-knowledge, is my mission. It’s why I published my first book, The Real Truth About Health, a practical guide to basic health care designed to empower people.
Vitalogy offers courses that I’ve developed so you can maintain your vitality, your vim, your vigor. Be it your body or your mind, both are vital to the quality of your life. My goal is to teach you simple ways to take care of yourself so that it is easy and enjoyable.
If you aren’t satisfied with any of our products or services, I want to be the first to know. Enjoy!
