A Well-Adjusted Life Is About Having Fun And Getting Something Done

As the result of technology, life today resembles surfing in the ocean. If we can ride the wave, we feel the immense exhilaration. Our sense of aliveness and possibility soars beyond the beyond. But if we stop being present, stop paying attention, very quickly that ride can turn deadly. The next moment we could capsize and get tossed into the surf — amidst an ocean of responsibility, obligations, choices, and information overwhelm. That is our present day conundrum: riding the wave without getting beaten into the surf or drowning in the undertow.
Human beings are a complex amalgam of thoughts, emotions, and individual chemical makeup that varies greatly from one person to the next. This makes reducing the problems of life down to a pill that works for everybody with minimal side effects highly dubious.
Getting Real And Getting To It
Even the alternative medical community routinely trots out yet another, modern day “snake oil” remedy promising to eliminate the blues and our allergies while improving our sex life.
Once we get past the illusion of quick fixes, magic foods, or miracle pills, we come to recognize that with some basic principles in place, we have a great chance at living a highly rewarding life. What we seek is comprehensive lifestyle management that leaves us feeling good about ourselves and our life experience.
Have you ever gone into someone’s home and found their bookshelves lined with “self-help” books? They’ve read every one and can recite chapter and verse. Yet, they still have the same problems they complained of last year and perhaps even ten years before that.
That is because long-term success only comes from a mastery of ourselves from a broader perspective. We have to care for our body, including its physical structure and biochemistry, by way of our dietary habits. We also have to care for our mind, because that’s where our world originates. Nothing is ever “life changing” on a permanent basis without our house being in order. And that house involves a close dialogue between our mind and body.
The Better It Gets, The Better It Gets
Daily success starts with being more present, aware, and thoughtfully prepared: strengthened and supported from a place inside of ourselves. Being in the flow of life means working the mechanisms of our life in a synchronistic manner. This requires shifting our attention towards our internal world: the thoughts in our mind, the biochemistry of our bodies, and the ability to anticipate and pace ourselves from day to day.
Our clients are people who do not want to spend their life working on their mind and body. Rather, they seek to manage their mind and body quickly and efficiently so they can get on with the business of living their life. They are self-generating people who are looking for cutting edge ways to improve their condition, advance their abilities, clarify and express their passions, and ultimately play the game of life with more spirit.
By taking care of these matters: mind, body, diet, etc., we provide the foundation for living our lives to the best of our abilities. I have spent my life studying these things. In the process of getting a degree, writing two books, and becoming a massage therapist as well as a personal trainer, I have mastered enough of these areas to provide consumers with the solid fundamentals they need to build the bedrock of their success upon. Our clients, being self-aware, can quickly pick and choose what is most effective for them and the areas they require the greatest amount of help with. We build long-term relationships with people that last for years, based on a willingness to invest time up front to fully understand their lives and their needs.
Vitalogy is designed to maximize your efforts and your return on investment, instead of wasting your time endlessly dealing with the same problems and debilitating routines. I am incredibly optimistic about humanity and our potential for greatness. I have seen people draw upon reservoirs of vitality they didn’t believe possible in order to take their lives to the next level. I look forward to that opportunity with you.
